It really does seem that gw wishes it just went away all on its own. Sad.

I have Legends of the Old West (almost untouched) that i'd exchange for The Victrix British Nap Higher Command figures (or something similar)

Guess they told Wargames Illustrated no more articles about KGN in their magazine.

That really stinks as Piers had material waiting to get in there.

That's why I held off on the book in the first place. I figured the chances for future support from them was limited at best. Time will tell, I guess.....

Thing is, after playing the Bolt Action demo, I got the vibe that BA will be something similar to KGN, just optimised to the scale and the BA range. So again, I probably should have held off on buying it....

@vogless: do you really now facts about this? Or are this rumours? Be careful. WHH never gives any infos, that is true. The rest... rumours.
I love warlord, because you get infos. Sometimes really less (Yes, I mean you, Sir Rick. And I mean the BA-Rules!!!), but you get something.

I hope you weren't one of the unlucky few who bought it at full price! :o

I didn't see the letter myself, or a comment by either party, but it comes from Piers over at the Guild. Thus the "guess" part. I can't say it's fact, but it really appears to be true.

However, when it comes to KGN, the only guy I take as a better source would be Warwick himself.....

Yes, I WAS one of the ones to buy the book full price only to have it go on sale a week later for half price. Ugh.

Just when you thought GW couldn't get any crazier, they go ahead and just get crazier.

I wonder if they'll send Warlord a Cease and Desist letter to get this thread removed? ;)

I believe GW will be sue WG because they have used the same initials in their company name. Although Warlord Games have made slight changes to the initials, like putting them in reverse, GW will pursue a lengthy and aggressive legal resolution.
