German Tank Camo

Postby canadasteve » Fri Apr 27, 2012 8:00 pm

Following on from the advice thread here are my two German tanks, one Panzer and one Panther. There are hand painted as I dont have a spray gun.

Not at all bad for hand painting. An ink wash and drybrush would blend it all in, and also pick out the detail.

Do yourself a template fella.

Camo looks great - I agree on the template for the cross.

Awesome camouflage.I like your cross. There is something about handpainted markings that I like. But good idea from Cubster there. How can I never have thought about making a template :?

Camo looks spot on!
I usually hand paint the markings too but I think for my BAM vehicles I'll invest in some transfers.
Especially tanks with camo and/ or weathering look better with a crisp decal.
Nice contrast IMHO!
