German Tank Camo

Following on from the advice thread here are my two German tanks, one Panzer and one Panther. There are hand painted as I dont have a spray gun.

Not at all bad for hand painting. An ink wash and drybrush would blend it all in, and also pick out the detail.

What color ink wash, a brown or a black ?

Devlan Mud works well, so dark brown.

Camo looks spot on!
I usually hand paint the markings too but I think for my BAM vehicles I'll invest in some transfers.
Especially tanks with camo and/ or weathering look better with a crisp decal.
Nice contrast IMHO!
