The Army Painter is a great investment!

Definitely test it on a few old figures first and one or two highlights after the dip do help a great deal although not necessary for a tabletop standard force.

I am happily married with kids and the little spare time I have I would rather socialise with mates over a game. I used to regularly enter and win painting comps. This made me shy away from Army Painter but once I tried it ;)

I still paint the odd miniature the old fashioned way but still get very good results using the methods mentioned above.

I am very pedantic. If I am not happy the way a figures is painted I will start over again.

Very nice gesture Cubs, I've just been looking at the new Baron Larrey very nice little set will post some photo's when I've finished it using AP.
