I'm not wild about his figures, but his vehicles and terrain look lovely. That's a fascinating technique he's using in that base at the bottom of the page too, dabbing speckles of bright primary colours on the ruined ground before covering them over with the dull brown. It gives a tiny hint of the colours underneath so it isn't a smooth even brown colour. I'll be trying that out.

The more I look at those Caesarian Romans the more excited I get about them Especially if this new Roman range will be as comprehensive as the Imperial one! I guess I will need to get some more Gauls soon, too. And maybe the new Republican Legionaries will even match them in size Aww.. it's gonna be a feast...

Concerning the Perry desert war plastics I'm a bit puzzled how negative people elsewhere (and not only TMP) reacted and all of a sudden criticised their sculpts The helmets did look a little strange but they were only stuck on with Blu Tac (guess they might be separate like the Warlord British- excellent choice). Like Paul said, the Perry Bros can do what they want! If desert war sells -and im sure it will- we will see more (Italian plastics..yum), if it doesn't, we won't. As simple as that. I only hope we eventually will have BAM desert war as well
It amazes me the negative attitude on TMP and sometimes on other boards... the amount of people who constantly slate particular companies or just universally write off all plastics...
...and whilst I'm moaning wow! is TMP one incredibly ugly web site... they could do with hiring a new webdesigner... it is one of the most clunky ugly sites out there... outside of the specialist confines of a niche audience a site looking like that would just be laughed off the internets!
