Thank you for the link to your Salute Photos. I was wondering about the new WW 2 coming out. I could work out some, but others were to distant.

From what I could work out:

French 25 mm with crew,

French mountain gun with mountain crew,

Guy Ant,

Morris portee with bofors,

Matilda 1

Char 2C,

KFZ 13 Adler,

Quad Flak 38 with trailer,

KFZ 301 Borgward IV (built into panzerjaeger Wanze, which were armed with six 8.8cm Panzerbaschsen 54),

New 3 up Soviets,

18/25 pounder,

Okay, what have I missed?

Cheers,

Helen

If correct, that seems like an odd choice. Less than a dozen of them were built, and they never actually fought. The only reason I can think of to make a model for them is because of their massive size.

I'd expect Warlord to first fill in the gaps in the French tank line-up, including the FT-17, the Somua, and the assorted Hotchkiss variants.

Oh! Duh! Just realized those are the forthcoming plastic soviets! I'm slow sometimes.

This model came over from Crouchie's BEF range. I gave mine to Rat of Tobruk in WA for his collection.

I think Helen is right as Steve did mention to me about the Char and its size.

Hilarious! So, no beer at Salute, then?

I think there was, but I was driving, so didn't have any until I got home! 8-)

Yes, I'm sorry about the photo quality! I'm not the photographer in our family. I'm pretty useless at it, actually.

I've spent the entire week end packing stuff or burning stuff( ), so have only just caught up with what went on at Salute, looks like all who went enjoyed themselves, (still very jealous as I haven't been to a show yet this year and will likely miss Falkirk next month as well ( but not Claymore!!)), some good info coming out from the show and photos, thanks for the link. :)
