The Canadian bookseller Chapters listed it as that. They are usually pretty close - and mostly trustworthy, unlike Amazon. Chapters has generally gone downhill in the past year or so, selling more knick-knacks and house fluff than books, but their online service is still my first choice.

Well, unless there is a limited mini and a signed copy to be had - then it's Warlord and nothing but!

If you are basing figures etc then keep them all as single models including gun crews as individual models come off during play.

Yeah, yeah! I was a fanboy a long time ago. What else is new? :D

From what I saw its my game from here on. Quick, easy to explain, fun. Looking forward to seeing and playing more once things solidify. Leaves the players more time to worry about their tactics and the scenario rather than rules. Think it will be one of those easy to learn but harder to master type games. Being married to the mini line is also a bonus.

CSteve, what amount of models did you find to be best for players con wise? 2 squads and support elements? A full platoon?

Vog we played with two 10 man rifle squads per side plus a 3 man HQ, again with rifles. We only kept to rifles to keep all ranges the same but this worked out really well. And yep I agree totally this is a smooth game system, we didnt need to reach for the rules once today. :)

Now that sounds like fun! Really looking forward to these - Warlord have made themselves something of a name, haven't they?

Cannot wait to get my hands on the rules and army lists (so I know how to build my BA plastics and make other purchases).

I'm also looking forward to seeing if the armor rules evolve a bit. The bit we played, there were light/Medium/Heavy tanks. I don't recall and armor differences for facing or hit locations.

Hoping to see it flushed out a bit more. I'm sure things will change, otherwise, the army books would be 4 pages long. :D

There is more indepth rules for armour so dont worry, but its been dealt with very well to keep the game from getting bogged down.
