Finished work early on Thursday so ended up with a nice extra long Easter weekend :)
Currently enjoying a large Captain Morgans spicy and cola. I've also picked up a thing for italian ameretti biscuits - fantastic taste and a real nice crunch.
It's derby day here tomorrow and our 2 big local teams are playing - which means that it should be nice and quiet for a bit of shopping in town :D

Good idea mikeland as it's a long W/E to do an update, you've got further than I have from my origanl Friday list. Got side tracked yesterday watching carry on films and others so only got my African vegetation based, but made up for it today and finished my FFL so now just need to base them :D

Weather kind of restricted our options this weekend, but that was okay. What was harder to take was the drive back ... three and a half hours on the M5 from Exeter to Bristol. As the BBC radio traffic lady said, there is one big queue from Bristol to Exeter, and it apparently spilled over into the tributary roads and choked them up too.

I am such a moron, I should have been expecting it, travelling back from the South West on a Bank Holiday Monday, but for some reason I didn't. Never again.

I do so love the lane-hopping idiots, dramatically swerving back and forth in ever more desperate measures as we all crawl forward at 15mph.
