Minor work left then I start with the other two batches tomorrow. Never could imagine these would turn out this good. Had my doubt on my painting skills concerning plate armour. Can't wait to get some mounted Men-at-arms or a high command now

The blood splater on the chaps armour is really effective, I might have to do some of that on my Romans

Well you can throw away your doubts about being able to paint plate. I don't think I've seen it done better in 28mm. And with GW paints too

Like grant I'm even more tempted to get some WoR/HYW stuff now.

Thanks. Yes I will go for skirmish bases. As I don't do wargaming I put all my mini's on seperate bases as in this case,on old 50 öres coins

I went to my local game shop this morning, as he had two boxes of Perry plastic WOTR in stock. THEY BOTH HAD SOLD! They had been on the shelf for aeons, in fact they were marked down to $25, about 16GBP, so were a steal. Saves me another project, I guess!

Dalauppror: Don't have any friends here who do wargames or even paint. Sad but true But I am tempted for a game, I'll give you that. Would really like to try a skirmish game like Lord of the rings SBG or something more historical.
