Warring States Battle Report

Postby scrivs » Fri Apr 06, 2012 12:16 am

Following on from last months game, John and I had another crack at using Hail Caesar for Warring states.

Would I be able to atone for the humiliation suffered last time?

Well here is a picture of me removing a unit

That's just the 28mm stuff, I'm not even going to start on the other scales.

Mine are all Curteys, I believe that Johns are a mixture of QT Models, Curteys and some John Jenkins.

Although good for inspiration, the Water Margin is very late, set during the Song Dynasty (10th to 13th century CE) whereas the Warring States period was during the Zhou Dynasty (10th to 3rd century BCE).

If you did want to re-enact the Water Margin, TAG do some lovely figures: http://www.theassaultgroup.co.uk/store/home.php?cat=58

Very nice view, only problem that a single miniature has to represent a big force.

Oh, that you tube link, the good old time of TV. But the end of the series was :(
