Really makes me want to buy one of these models and give it a go. Great work - the thatch is well done! :mrgreen:

@anevilgiraffe- black towel! doh . Of course...I robbed the airing cupboard and ended up with a white towel , which was a nightmare to paint. Now....Plan ahead me thinks!
Anybody got the ideal towel colour? (how sad am I! :oops: )

very quick... I ordered two more houses on Friday and they arrived yesterday... so around 3-4 working days...

I just went into Primark as I figured they would be the cheapest - you can get 3 hand towels for about £2, to be safe I bought two lots of that, but I still have 3 left over... they did do a brown towel, but I figured the black would just be easier... whatever colour you get, you'll either have to match it for your drybrushing, or overpaint it...

Thanks, will have to look into getting some of these to beef up my ECW / Jacobite towns. And on towels, the missus and I decided to take a room each to start sorting out ready for the house move in a few weeks, I took the airing cupboard (as it's only 3' x 3' :lol: ) and at the back I found two spare dark brown towels!!

Ooooo..! sorry went all camp, I'll hold off then, but just so you know, I'd like the Roman watchtower, the ECW timber houses, the Rorkes drift buildings, some chocolate, a toy and a surprise!! :)
