What color are the US GI examples for the box set.

Hi guys im about to buy some of these new amazing US GIs but id like to know what color they are painted. mainly just the jacket.

I've no idea what was used but there is no correct colour for M41 jackets, just "Khaki" or any beige type colour. What colour range do you use?

I THINK for Vallejo it's actually German Camo Beige. Forgot the number, sorry.

Looks good on my Paratroopers anyway.

Well here is the issue. I use a mix of Vallejo and Citadel colours for example I use Catachan green(CD) or US dark green(VC) and i use german camo beige(VC) and then i use Kommando khaki(CD) because they are slightly different. most of what i use is based off the flames of war or artizan paint guides.

I like using both sets for a wider variety like i use the catachan green for German uniforms but then a german darkish grey from vallejo for their helmets. To make matters worse in an odd way is that Citadel just practically doubled their paint range. sounds great right? well they changed all the names .... >.< Ill link their conversion chart here for other Citadel users.

I like how my germans are coming out except i just use chaos black for their leather kit like the suspenders and such. But for my americans im using brown olive(VC) for the helmets and tanks and such, Im confused on the shirt colour and i was going to use grey green(VC) for webbing or the recommended camo green(CD) but i think the rotting flesh(CD) colour looked better. I guess if i can get some tips and ill also post some pics or a Chart of what i use for each part. I just want themn to look good on the table.

EDIT!! I also forgot to mention while at school its easier to obtain Citadel paints so if someone could look at the new range maybe and make some suggestions?

Dhenab stone has just been renamed. Are you thinking for the webbing?? cause that or the rotting flesh looks close.

I use Vallejo German Camo Beige, just guessing on a GW alternative.

Deneb stone with a darker tone mixed or washed would work. Rotting flesh is a little too light, I think.

Kommando is. Classic OD3 so should be perfect.
