Got Dad Taxi duty out of the way early tonight so the rest of the evening is mine!

Will be painting 6 Hessian Jagers - hoping to get them finished this weekend now I have my painting mojo back. Also four 7th Dragoons.

Also experimenting with grey horses before letting loose on my force commander.

Hoping to fix the Kfz 13 Adler master - not much more to do to it.
Cheers,

Paul Sawyer

Got two grass mats today, one for the fish tank and one to split down and make some jungle / darkest Africa plants with. And been really ruthless today, flogging off my 3rd crusade stuff as I'm going nowhere with it, called a halt to some other projects and just going to concentrate on 3; WG Roman / Brits, '45 Jacobite & Late Victorian wars.

Drinking Guinness while laughing at my brother trying - and failing - to play Assasins Creed. He just don't have the skills

I'm currently working on some LoTD Marines right now. Had a hankering to paint some sci-fi stuff and trying out different techniques on them. Trying to get a glowing effect from between the armour joints and trying to make the armour look ancient and rusty.

Settling down with a nice cool bottle of Wychcraft to put some flesh tones on both some Celt chieftains, their charioteers and Boudicca's standard bearer - now on foot - after a run with the brother-in-law (still recovering from MTB carnage last night!), and then discovered I'm right out of Vallejo Dark Flesh! Bother! So it's just the Wychcraft and the last episode of Game of Thrones S1 ... no Sky ... oh dear, looks like I'll have to buy the books instead ... :D

It's really staggering. We get excited in Canada over $50million. Wife actually wanted to drive to Montana to get a ticket. ONLY 6 HOURS! I said NO.
Take car. Go to Mum's. Kill Phil - "Sorry." - grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?

Yup - it's drawn. Someone from Kansas actually won- they have to share it with two other winners though.

After taxes each winner will get about $106,666,667.00. If you buy the "Legions of Rome Deal" at $239.73 each you could buy 444,945 of them.

I told SWMBO it would be fun to start a Roman EIR re-enactment group and supply it with everything it needed. I also told her I would hire certain painters who are, or have been, on this forum to paint my mountain of minis!!!!!!

Actually, that thought DID cross my mind. However, knowing that the business is a labor of love for the WG guys I wouldn't buy them out, but I would make them a good offer in order to join the team!!! I think it would be a great investment.
