Great Podcasts

Postby mikeland » Fri Mar 30, 2012 11:06 am

Have been listening to this great ww2 history podcast over the last month. Thought I'd share it with you chaps & chapesses. Whilst not perfect, and like with any author you dont agree 100% all the time I find this guy really enjoyable, detailed account, well researched and easy to listen to. Ideal for boring hours in the office, on the train or on the road.

He is only up to 1940 so it will be a massive work when done.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread with a couple more great podcast I'm enjoying:

When Democracy Fails: Short potted episodes dealing with different Wars in history, good for that quick overview.

And the History of England. Does what it says on tin. Very good listen.

Both of these are also available through iTunes or the podcasts app on the iphone/ipod/ipad
