Postby SgtPerry » Fri Mar 30, 2012 5:40 am

On wednesday I received the ruined hamlet box that I pre-ordered and I opened the box last evening.

If you did not follow the link, I have 6 ruined buildings to basecoat and six bases to texture.

Wow! I knew it'd take a decent footprint but I didn't realise it would be that massive. I imagined three building roughly the size of the GW chapel model but that's impressive!

That looks fantastic, have to say your pictures make this look better than I thought. With extra scratch building and a few added extras this could make a very extensive set of terrain.

Didn't realise so much came in the box. Far easier than making buildings/ruins from scratch.

@SgtPerry: Can you tell me how thick the walls are?

(Sirius wonders aloud if the hamlet components can fit in with his existing modular wall sections... those quoins in particular attracting his attention...)

Do not have the walls near me but I would say about 5mm thick.
