Bolt Action rules delayed until August?

Postby grant » Thu Mar 29, 2012 12:48 am

Hello all,

At first, I would have sworn these rules were out in June. Now, my online bookseller (not amazon...) has them listed as 21 August.

Also, will they be available from Warlord with a Willie miniature?

Good question, Grant, but I doubt it. This is an Osprey publication and not a Warlord one. :(
It would have been good to see a Wullie

I'm also disappointed about the Delay. June to August is a Long Time. And no Information, Seems that Osprey did Not allow previews

Personally, I am not too worried. I have lots of projects on the go as it is, so I'm glad of the breathing space. I am happy enough with my current rules of choice, but will be buying these as well, but the delay isn't a problem. The other thing is that I would rather the product be a little delayed but spot on, than be rushed out and full of errors or broken. I don't want to splash out on something that is a complete waste of time and money. I've done that before and it isn't good.

It was to be July and that has slipped a month. No point in us rushing the project - we want ti to be the best it can be.

Will there be a special edition miniature? Oh yes - details on that and how you can get it nearer the time...
Cheers,

Paul Sawyer

I wouldn't mind waiting a month longer than that to get one signed by everyone.

Hint, hint.

I too don't mind waiting if there is something special from Warlord!

One question I have is will there be starter lists for all the Warlord range - I have Pacific theatre.
