TYW Club Project

The latest unit for my Spanish TYW army are some Arquebusiers riding on Warlord plactic horses…more pictures at my blog:)

We started this project with FoGR in mind...it didn´t pay of, I din´t even get me the rulebook. I was hoping for the Black Powder Pike and Shotte suplement... been waiting a while...have playd with my Spanish TYW army ones sins it was finished....

No I have preeordered the Pike and Shotte rule book and realy hoping that they will help me to be able to fiels my Spanish army :D

I thought I would post the last of the pictures of my army during the next days, I hope you like them.

these are lovely. Don't want to detract too much but how do you do your banners? They have a real 'textile' look about them

They are Textile :D

I uses linnen cloth, I have made a smal tutorial about how I paint them at my blog, link here

these are rockin!, i like the idea of having sergeants on each side of the shot sleeves, im using that also for my kings life guard. keep up the wonderful work!

haha agreed, im thinking of a serg for each sleeve one in front and back of pikes and drummers in back of the sleeves also oh and maybe 2 for the pikes, the kings guard i think would go over extravagant that way! enjoying the pics by the way. i really want to do cavalry but i hate painting horses, some reason i feel i just cant get it right.

Painting horses...Mine are speed painted...

Spray light brown
GW Dewland mud or a Army painter dip, but I prefere Dewland mud.
Vallejo Cavalry brown on all straps and the saddle (I´m not to careful, just quick)
Vallejo Ivory on the fore head and on all 4 legs as socks (I´m not to careful, just quick)
Glue the base coated or already painted rider in the saddle.
DONE :D
