Artillery from Warlord

Postby Feanor » Sun Mar 25, 2012 4:48 pm

I am busy rebuilding my French Napoleonic army obviously for BP and buying from Warlord. Slight problem though - I like guns and there don't seem to be any.

Starting to make / stock artillery any time soon? :(

Napoleonic Artillery is an issue. The only company to make plastic guns is Victrix, with the British gun.

All of my French guns are metal Perry. They are great kits, but as one might imagine, they can be pricey. I have three foot and three horse guns, and will possibly have to add a few more. I haven't plumped for a caisson yet - today's end of ebay sales will determine if I can afford that extravagance! (along with the field forge!)

I'm happy to buy metal, just would like a single source. Pain in the butt ordering multiple places from South Africa.

Hey, I'm in Canada. Probably the same distance - I'm almost all the way over to the west coast!

We do have a series of Russian guns coming through very soon if that helps...

Not if I have French.

Suppose I might have to do Russians, then, eh?

How about cavalry and cossacks, Paul, in plastic? Please take my money!

Depends how picky you are. You could also try Old Glory not as nice as Perrys but more affordable.

Rather have Perry or an equivalent. Had Old glory once - binned them on account of the weird poses.
