Well, I wasn't going to do this......a touch melodramatic and I thought I could shuffle away like a sulky John Wayne who'd thrown all his toys out of the pram and disappear into the sunset.
However I have had a few emails, and realised it would be rude of me not to say thanks and goodbye, at the very least.
Have to say I have been very shocked to have left an impression on anyone, and that so many of you thought so highly of me, my limited painting and dodgy ramblings over this last year.
I have made many friends and largely on the whole enjoyed posting my pictures, seeing what everyone else was doing, learning from you all...and swapping bits.
it really is best for my well being and as a person to retreat back to the shadows.
Time for a change, not the end, just different.
it is very important for me to stay upbeat and not get negative.
In the short term there is always email! and I intend to have my own little blog where i can please myself.

Captain Kirk left this world with the words....."it was fun".............God that was a crap way to go out, wasn't it?

So long BD - It's been a pleasure reading your posts on here. Just like to say thanks for the advice, links and general help you have given myself and good luck for your future endeavors.
