Slightly off topic, but does anyone know if someone out there produces miniature representations of classic Clint Eastwood and John Wayne western characters? Specifically the Man with No Name, the Outlaw Josey Wales and Rooster Cogburn?
I've seen a Rooster Cogburn figure - er sorry, I mean One-Eyed Retired Marshall figure - advertised on ebay. I think it may be by Crusader Miniatures. There are foot and mounted figures in the pack.
Just discovered this thread. Excellent work! The jacket on the sawn-off shotgun guy looks poretty much like the one in the tutorial on textured leather in Kevin Dallimore's Painting Masterclass.
TGM is right, the "one eyed retired marshall" is Crusader miniatures. The mounted version has the reigns in his teeth and has a pistol in one hand and a rifle in the other. Why you'd think that has anything to do with Rooster Cogburn is beyond me!

I am glad I got my two supplements before they went out of stock! Looking forward to some larger scale battles with the Alamo supplement at some stage..
Canadasteve, what did you mount the whitewash city sheriff's office on? started building some of my own and have got the free saloon sample from Whitewash City.
Humbugged, we decided to mount all of our buildings on 2mm grey card, from Hobbycraft. All floors, walls and roofs are done with this. The porch roofs, after making this one with balsa, we went back to the 2mm card for and then used balsa or match sticks for the rails and supports. The buildings are great my only complaint is the sizing isnt quite right, especially with the two story buildings. But they still look great when used in a game.
