The test shots of the weapons sprue arrived yesterday. Lovely stuff!

As if that wasn't enough we've received a photo of the superb cover art by Peter Dennis.

I'm spending the afternoon checking them over and building a few GIs so we can get them painted.

Very happy with this set so far!
Cheers,

Paul Sawyer

THINK those were shown off at a con.

Paul, just wondering if your preparing a "wave" of US goodness, or will it be coming out as it does. Just wondering.

Still trying to scrape the cash together for a platoon of those incredible looking M10's.

Yep, that pic was taken at Tactica Hamburg.

There will be a lot more than just a box of plastics for the US Army, trust me!

They do look AWESOME!

Nice job on including the M3 grease gun. I haven't seen any of those in 28mm yet.

Looks like I'll be doing at least another platoon of US infantry and some Rangers as well!

Quick question, I haven't run across shotguns in the ETO much past MPs guarding POW's. Where they used much? Either way, thanks for adding them in!

Shotguns.....

There's been extensive debate, albiet one side about them in the ETO on my group website. There were around 2,500 of them in the ETO which is nothing. There is a few images of them in the hands of shiny MP's posing for photographs but no data on them being used outside the Military police.
The PTO is a completely different matter, and these are suitable as PTO Army infantry so this isn't an ETO plastic set, it's a plastic set that covers ALL American theatres up until the issue of the M43 uniform sets. There's two sets of packs with the kit, one with M1910 T-handle shovels fitted and one set without and a loose M-1943 shovel for the belts for early and late war/theatre specifics (Africa and Italy never got M-1943 shovels, despite what a certain 15mm company will argue).
