Postby steve » Sun Mar 11, 2012 9:49 pm

I am about to start some terrain Rorkes Drift boards and was going to try teddy bear fur for the grass, does anyone have any tips for painting green, i was thinking of perhaps using dye.

I'd soak it first, as you say, in dye or an ink solution or something, then drybrush a pale colour on after it's been glued on and has dried. I'd also go for a brown/green as opposed to a true green.

I got some good results with mine by aibrushing the green onto a golden fur.

The airbrush not only got the green onto the fur, but allowed a great degree of control to give it a layered look. I'll see if I can find some pics....
