the Great Friday Night Thread 02.03.12

Well...there will be beer.
A further attempt at cloaking in green stuff. No foil to hand.
The target is eight cloaks for kneeling romans :D

No beer. May be a late Malt.

The steampunk attack is gone. (Painted everything I bought so....) Did some more Hellenistic 28mm today. Sorry, no Warlord. ;)
Got some cheap Bolt action US Para Specialists , may be I start to paint these. But there is also a 1/300 SOL on the bench. And some 28 mm Vikings too.

The ACW cannon is finished at long last and I did all the Ebob Rebellion stuff I had. The other week I bought a BA Fallschirmjager eleven man squad and a Fj PAK 40 off an amazon seller for a really stupidly low price and I was beginning to believe I'd been conned when I got a Italian 80mm mortar instead but he came through and sent the replacements first class so I'm quite happy. I'll be sending the mortar team back asap since I want to order more!

So this weekend that's what I'll be doing. I plan on using GW spec bases from Fenris so I'll be knocking the integral bases off with the dremel and pinning them. Never painted Splinter before so I could be turning the air Luftwaffe blue in my house this week.

Bread, cheese and red wine.

Looking at my two year old daughter try to feed her baby doll ... more cute than I can handle.

Sounds like the perfect Friday evening then!!!!

I'm tying to get over the fact that my eldest daughter is about to join the Army Cadets...
Nothing planned otherwise so my Macedonian Phalanx will definitely be growing 8-)

Rogan Josh and red wine followed by building and painting of my second WG scorpion + crew, then to bed to search and decide on what figs to use for my future Alexandra mounted rifles unit for AZW.
