You lucky devil, living so close to them. My Romans had to hitch a ride on Royal Air (Pardon me for not knowing the exact name) all the way to the Pacific.... But I bet it was a load of fun for them.
I bet it was a bit awkward for them, having to get the folk they conquered all those years ago to get them from A to B
