choosing an army

Postby huzzah » Fri Feb 24, 2012 11:33 pm

hey guys, having played a few games (NAP british) and having had a few lay outs for brigades im looking for a new layout to help choose a brigade. having played 40k warhammer i'm looking at a 'force organisation chart' idea. 1 commander then a choice of infantry or cav as primary brigade form. the brigade will then be made up of at least 2 'standard' units either line infantry or line cav with a max number of 5 standard units. each brigade can then have 0-2 artillary guns (horse or foot drawn for either cav or foot brigade) and 0-2 'special units, elite infantry, heavy cav etc or 0-2 cav units if an infantry brigade.

does this sound like a sensible approch?

That would work. For me, I chose to build my French along the lines of a historical "snapshot" of th French at Leipzig.
