I've taken a break from assembling/painting figures to have a go at some scratch built scenery. Current project is a fairly basic house-with-yard that should look OK with Roman and sci-fi games. Then some ruins and outcrops (using some moulds I just bought; that's going to be a disaster  ).

Figure wise I've got WF Germans, GW Imperial Guard, WG Romans and Celts (from last Christmas), sitting about in various states of construction :)

Just some 28mm Hellenistic metal phalanx and some light troops.

And still some of the crazy Dystopian stuff. One big unit per evening on average. The rules, hmmm :| , but I like the absurd flying models.
A Bolt action 10,5 cm is on the bench since december. :? , the gun ready but the crew.....

Space Marines.

A hush-hush 'Special'.

Some Romanians.

My plan for the year is to four half size armies of Heer and Fallschirmjager to fight US Airborne and US plastics and have enough buildings made to fight over a town. I've got a 11 man Fj packet and a PAK 40 in the post. I might trim off the base from them and pin them to Fenris cobble bases since my Heer are on them or I may just get more Heer to make the bases match.
the plan was to get them together to play Bolt Action at the War and Peace show at night but it's on the weekend BA comes out and I'll be off the beginning of the week.

I've also got my Moria project to finish, it's taking a bit longer because I ran out of money and stuff. I'm doing basing standards for WotR with scenic trays, mainly to reduce the 2D look of one piece models facing the front.

Currently on the workbench is -
The infamous Union Cannon Crew, done from the waist down.
A couple of Empress Taliban
The Fj's when they turn up
Lots of sisters of Battle. May have lost interest, if I'm honest.
A largish foamboard Normandy building.
Let them eat Static.

Don't shop - ADOPT!

My year plan is out the window, I meant to concentrate on my GWM late war germans, but all that Field grey got me abit down. So without the wifes knowledge, am starting to build up some Saxon and Roman formations.

So in my corner of the kitchen I've got:

GWM Late war maxim and command to finish painting, 30 odd Late war to base, another 60 basecoated,
A box of Roman Legionnaries to build and paint (she don't know about them yet!),
About 10 Bolt action SS to Strip and Paint, 5 to base,
A Saga warband to paint.

I haven't done too bad so far this year got the A7V, and a box of Gripping beast Thegns done. I suppose it keeps me out the pub.
Now look 'ere Flight, it was the other shift.
