Fake cover on Amazon... or, is it? Hmmm...

Fake Amazon release date: 24 July 2012.

Looks like a stretched version of the box art.

Now for the interesting part:
My decent Canadian bookstore has it on pre-order as well, and additionally has the two accompanying army books. So guess what? It might be true!

Amazon UK has them assigned ISBN numbers so it must be above board and correct.

I don't doubt the ISBN, nor the two additional books. However, just like Pike and Shotte has a "fake" cover, I doubt the Bolt Action one, well, until Paul confirms or denies it!

And on the subject of books, why not a British/Commonwealth book first?

Details:

Written by veteran game designers Alessio Cavatore and Rick Priestley, "Bolt Action" provides all the rules needed to bring the great battles of World War II to your tabletop. Using miniature soldiers, tanks and terrain, you can fight battles in the shattered towns of occupied France, the barren deserts of North Africa, and even the sweltering jungles of the Pacific. Players get to decide which of the major or minor World War II powers they would like to represent, and then construct their armies from the lists provided. Army options are almost limitless, allowing you to build the kind of army that most appeals to your style of play, from heavily armored tank forces to lightly armed, but highly skilled. The choice is yours. Created as a joint project between Warlord Games, the premiere historical miniatures company, and Osprey Publishing, the leading independent military history publisher, "Bolt Action" is sure to be the most popular new wargame on the market.

The covers are placeholders - just like the one with Pike & Shotte...
Cheers,

With a little bit flesh on tge rease bone I'm getting even more than quite excited about it, only seeing Pickle Surprise could ruin my joy at the minute!

Is Warlord doing a special figure with this release? I prefer to get a special figure and rules from Warlord than buy from Amazon.
