Friday night topic 17-02-12

Postby paulsmodellingworkshop » Fri Feb 17, 2012 7:10 pm

I thought I might as well start!

Loose end tonight, just finished some work and don't fancy starting on anything until tomorrow.

No one want's to go riding :( Might have to watch Zulu Dawn with Pizza, either that or start on Pacific - (got it for xmas 2010  )

Sunday I'm off up to London - usually avoid the place (tall buildings scare me ;) )but should be fun. Going to South Bank - any reccomendations?

Dropping the kids off at grandmas in a little while, for a sleep over and then treating mrs M to a birthday meal out and possibly going to see war horse... Have a good Friday folks!

I'm spoilt for choice! I'm a bachelor for the night! :D My wife has gone to a workshop with the RSC for two nights and won't be back until tomorrow evening. I feel like a kid in a sweet shop. Now what to do....... 8-) :D

Run about in your underwear, drink milk from the carton, pick your nose and flick it around the living room, listen to 'The Police', point out the mistakes in war films and leave the toilet seat up.

Then go to bed, smell her cushion and cry yourself to sleep, pathetically lonely huddled in your own side under a cold duvet.

Working on BEF masters (Kfz 13 Adler, 18/25 pdr gun and Scout Carrier).

Watch Henry of Navarre (well, try to - I hate subtitled flicks).

Check through the first draft of the Pike & Shotte rulebook (yes, really!).
Cheers,

Dreaming of the postman delivering of Warlord goodies!
Busy keeping up with Mikeland and his bloomin celtic huts...been cutting towels up and all sorts. Mrs Carvel thinks I'm bonkers...no change there then. Its in the oven cooking at the moment...needs doors and daubing yet.
@Paulsmodelling...gotta see the Globe...you can make one then from your photos :D
Have a lovely evening gentlemen....my round house is coooked! Photos later :D

My postman did a delivery today. But again this week no miniatures. Just a 1905 tailored Highland Officers Serge frock. :P

So for painting back to the stocks this weekend. Some Hellenistic and some more Steampunk.

Tomorrow we have a public transport strike here, so better staying at home, reading, painting, doing some housework. :?

Trying desperately to finish off a necromancer as I'm finally getting to try out Witchfinder rules tomorrow, but losing the battle as I'm loaded with the cold and feel like I'm fading fast, should be able to get the base done and then a large brandy and bed :( , might get some support from my old friends Ben &Jerry :D
