Very Nice S.P. I went to the Waterloo battlefield in the mid 80's at christmas time.....it has probably changed a lot since them....all the HQ's are worth a visit too...then of course there are all the ww1 battlefields and Cemetaries near by. So much to see so little time!!!!

Yes, definitey!
This is why my mates and I go to France/ Belgium every year!
Normandy, Verdun, The Somme, all highly recommended sites and good reason for a short trip to our neighbours.
Good food and wine combined with some battlefield archaeology. What's not to like!?
Downside is I usually need an extra day off to recuperate..
Getting old I guess :lol:
