Game Korps and Warlord Games Present:
The Battle for Carentan

The place is Normandy. The date; June, 10th, 1944. Your platoon landed behind enemy lines four days ago. And now you approach the town of Carentan. You have been charged to take the town and consolidate the US beachheads of Utah and Omaha Beach. Command a platoon of the 101st Airborne and help the rest of your battalion seize this strategic intersection. Your only problem is the German 6th Parachute Regiment who occupies it!

The Battle for Carentan is a weekend long demo game highlighting Warlord's new WWII rules set, "Bolt Action", to be released in July, 2012. Action will commence Friday and Saturday between the hours of 10AM and 7PM. The game will include a static 6x8 Carentan board and a scenario designed for up to 10 players. Each player will be issued a platoon of Bolt Action figures to game with. Players will be able to jump in and out of the game throughout the day. The Battle for Carentan is presented by Game Korps and Warlord Games.

This demo game does not require an event ticket. Your AdeptiCon 2012 Weekend Badge is all you need to participate in this new and exciting game.

Ahhhh, to each his own.

It IS interesting to see the con expanding into other styles and types of games beyond tourneys. I get shivers just watching tourneys of ANY game.
