Special Rules Markers

Postby armchairsaxon » Wed Feb 08, 2012 2:00 pm

For our AWI games I mark some of my units with a counter for First Fire which is removed after their opening volley. I wondered if anyone else uses special rules markers such as for Crack troops or Marauders for example to avoid forgetting in the heat of battle?

Would it be worth someone producing a sheet of discreet counters if so? I know I could knock something up on excel stuck onto card but it wouldn’t be as good as something more artistic by those with such talents :D

Might be worth looking on the GF9 website to see if they're doing them - i know they do some SAGA ones.

How about using renedra (or similar) powder barrells or real musket balls for shhoting related bonuses?
Boy, it sure would be nice if we had some grenades, don't you think?

Have a look at this site -you can get coloured acrylic markers with writing on them.I am thinking they could be handy for special rules eg; untested/tough fighter /first fire etc..... ontable
