Clive, that's very Kind of you, let me have your address (PM)and I'll Send the Celtic S.B along.
it is quite important to have a Boudica figure in the battle since they will be learning about her, i thought i'd try and represent her....sadly i don't have the £15 spare for a warlord chariot with her in or the WF chariot box set at the moment......but it is important that she is represented, she'll have to be on foot on the battlefield, but that's OK!!!
many thanks for that! :D

Have you checked ebay - there are some bargains to be had there and well worth a look.

That's not a bad idea - especially in your area. I have been fortunate enough to get a handful of WG items off eBay but, for the most part, WG items on the US version of eBay are more expensive than buying direct! I would imagine it's a different story in Blighty.

Theres also a trade section on Heresy Online - they don't just cover 40k but many other game systems too. Might be worth a look and putting a wanted ad on there.

There was I expecting Clives Wargames factory Boudicca to arrive this morning.............But when I opened the packet I got a bit of a shock........it was actually the rather lovely Warlord Version.......fantastic...so I'm mightly pleased...so pleased in fact that she has jumped to the top of the painting queue...so expect some photo's over the weekend!

This can only mean that Carvels Legio XX will have another Chariot to face on the battlefield...sorry about that Carvel .....I'd recommend some Sarmatians to deal with that ;)

Anyway a really big thank you to Clive for helping me with my Project......I'm now quite eager to get on with it!!!

I love this forum.

...................Update
Right so I immediately set to work on Boudicca removing the severed head from hand...all going very well.
Then i needed to give her a Celtic style shield so into my relevent spares box for said item..........successfully managed to lift the various sprues and boxes with one hand whilst rummidging around for the shield.....then my arm just caught on some Spartan hoplite spears which fell over and gently knocked into Leonidas...(you'll remember I had problems with him already)....sickeningly (he was nearly finished as i did a lot of work on him last night) he took a dive off the table and hit various things on the way down....completely detroyed again.....
The Rock he is perched on being made of granite so drilling into was proving extremely difficult, so after reassembling him for the 3rd time, i drilled out his standing foot glued in another piece of paper clip....and decide the best thing to do was make a replica of the rock in green stuff......so using my insta-mold I managed to make a two part mold and am now waiting for the green stuff to cure...fingers crossed!!!......I'll be able to drill into that without too much trouble...but will have to really thing about what i can do to the 20x20mm base to make it more stable...a puff of wind and over it goes...itried filling the base with white metal but it isn't enough, so maybe a magnetic base?

So apart from Boudicca being the death of Leonidas what have we learned???
Don't have too much on the go at once, probably....must de-clutter

@BD: You're welcome!! I wasn't quite sure how to fit her into the tribe anyway; you know how it is - let one in, and next thing you know it's "I hope you've washed your hands before eating that wild boar!", "Have you cleaned your sword from last week?", and you're up to your ears in tartan throws ...
@Carvel: I wouldn't worry about the now Boudicca-less chariot - there's all those other Celts I have to plough through yet! :(
