How they got there is anyone's guess, there are no markings to identify what regiment/corps they belonged to. Regulars, militia, yeomanry and fencibles were all roaming around Ireland at the time.
It's possible that they were stolen by a rebel during the 1798 rebellion, as the battle of the Hill of Tara took place nearby (where the Reay Fencibles' baggage train was raided) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Tara_Hill
