First Boar War British Uniforms

Were the british Army in the first Boar War wearing the same uniforms as in the AZW?

I believe they were similar. It was the experiences of that war that persuaded them to change to khaki. Apparently, the white straps made for easy targeting.

I believe most uniforms in the First Boar War would have been pink or grey. Oink oink.

The uniforms in the First Boer war would have been the same as in the AZW. You can use the KRRC and the redcoats and the NMP and the MI and the Naval Brigades and the Artillery for both.

They were very similar in style and colour to the AZW with only slight changes, Khaki was more commanplace by the second Boer war, although they did still fight in Red right up to the Sudan.
