I did in fact stop off at Hadrians Wall for the first time while poping over to England which was a great experience. Man.. they really were so far ahead of everyone else!

Just bear in mind that if you lot get independence, there'll be no more 'popping over to England'... We're planning to rebuild it.

@Drumstick: The stones at Callanish were much more impressive (IMHO), given their location, than Stonehenge, I thought - though Skara Brae was better still!

Yes I agree, such an empty place you would never imagine them to have such a large attraction. What is also quite different are that the stones seem to be very slim compare to Stonehenge. The Lewis chessmen were also found around there which date back to early 12th century which was pretty cool. Never seen Skara Brae but I had a quick google and that looks pretty old & not to mention interesting!

Cardiff Castle is in great shape. 'Course it was rebuilt a century ago, but that's not the point.
