Yes, I am finding that problem with the metal ones I have spare from the slingers  Guess I'll just have to hope that they won't eventually snap due to lots of bending back into shape.
I've used up all my spare ones from both the vets and the legionaires sprue - could really have done with a few more for converting auxilaries to Hamata clad Legionaries though!

I've got half a century to paint up at the moment and want to get them done before converting any more Auxilaries to Legionaries so I'll probably end up with a few spare ones when I get the next half of my century.

Thanks! I'm currently painting up some slingers, a Primus Pilus and my General. Once these are done, I'm going to work on my Century a section at a time.

Thanks to the weather being dry today, I have finally managed to undercoat the first half of my century - hooray! :D
Hopefully I'll get some paint on them tonight - well, the first conturbinium at least :)
Currently I'm working on a second scorpion and some slingers.

Cheers! Won't get any more paint on them tonight as I'm out running my Cub pack :( but I should be able to finish them off tomorrow - if all goes according to plan!

Don't know why the pics of the slingers have only come up as a link whereas my Primus Pilus is visable................. :?

Starting to take shape Dan, looking good and good to see WG forum running in the back ground, I'm not the only one then who has this on perminently when painting / building! Got Roman withdrawal today so have stopped foreign legion for a few days and started on the kneeling Roman line and western archers to go behind them (not sure how they'll work on the table top, not got that far yet)
