Skirmish gaming with Hail Caesar?

Postby Happy Wanderer » Wed Jan 11, 2012 1:49 pm

Gents,

Skirmish gaming seems to be in vogue at present with games such as SAGA being popular.

Has anyone used HC in a pure massed-skirmish game?

As units are not necessarily defined then if each standard unit was roughly 12 figs, small units being 6, etc and allowing all units to form skirmish order then it may work quite well.

The great advantage would mean not having to learn another game system.

Such a game would be of the 'massed skirmish' type action.

Anyone tried it? Thoughts?

Regards
