Good News for the 20mm Types

Revell are set to re-release the old Matchbox WW2 Japanese and ANZACS (expected April) and British Commandos (expected August); they are all some of the best examples of their type ever seen in 1:72/1:76 scale.

had all of these......well my brother did, but I had to paint them!!!.....I liked the Americans and Gemans too.
They were much more Realistic to us than airfix figures which were a bit wooden in pose.....and quite thin.....men in a matchbox regiment clearly got all their rations!!!...They were our elite troops until we got our hands on Esci....and dare I say it Atlanic.....which for some reason i could only buy in the National Army Musum in Chelsea......Those were the days.......must make a point of going back there at some point!

Another nice 20mm item to acquire is the 20mm Airfix Cromwell.

Not seen any reviews on it but it builds into a beautiful model and goes together in a similar way as to a Dragon kit. Gone are the vinyl treads by the way replaced by a unique one piece plastic trad which is held in place by the wheels. Excellent actually and just wondering if they intend to use this method on some of their existing kits.

Easily built in one evening in front of the TV!
