Personally, I'd like very much to see some Sarmatian Horse Archers, and Roman Chariots. Not quite a historical battle implement, but a cool modeling opportunity none the less.

What would be good is if WG were to release a metal commander style gladiator too - and as there are already 2 models available from a certain film called Gladiator, how about this quote for a little inspiration:

Please Warlord, don't start fantasy "Roman" ranges. There are enough of these on the market.

That they will sell well is clear, but commerce should not be all. The existing Warlord Romans are very good and the range should get additions of the same quality.

Well, no one said that the film is historicaly accurate. In fact, most films are far from accurate - I think it's something called "artistic licence".
If Warlords current range is anything to go by, the miniature itself would be of superb quality. Whether someone buys them or not is down to personnal preference.

Of course a Sid James Centurion would fit in with the Kenneth Williams Caesar model

If you offer me such a Cleopatra miniature, perfect.

But a "Gladiator" style range, no, thank you. The historic Gladiators and other Romans are so interesting, I need no Hollywood style ones. I hope most gamers to be a little more interested in history than the average consument of US movie industry trash.
