You should have a look at the Ikea Billy bookcases; pretty cheap and you can get glass doors for them turning them into pretty decent display cabinets, particularly if you add a few extra shelves as mini's aren't very tall. Typically the doors cost more than the bookcase though


There's also a nice all-glass case that's a real bargain, I picked mine up for ~$100, and it has my Lord of the Rings collection in it, books, collectibles, etc. Nice display in my hobby room. Would like to get more of the cases, honestly.
