Pike & Shotte Field Army

Postby Correus » Fri Dec 30, 2011 5:50 pm

Cheers Mates!

Okay, as most of you know, SWMBO bought me a 'Pike & Shotte Field Army' along with a few extra pieces to go with it. This will allow me to build most of the Royalist army I have in mind (@ mikeland & Biggus Dickus - don't worry, I will be building a Parliamentarian army as well - my Royalists need someones arse to kick!). Other than a few specialty pieces about the only other minis needed would be more Pike & Shotte Infantry.

Anyway, I really, really enjoy the cover art, and info on the box back, that comes with the individual boxes. Since these minis were purchased 'en masse' I'm afraid I might miss out on those features.

That being said, do any of you have the boxes and the abilities to scan the fronts and backs and send them to me? I would like to have copies of the following: Royalist Infantry boxed set; Firelock Storming Party boxed set; Dragoons boxed set; Royalist Cavalry box set; Cuirassiers boxed set; Harquebusiers boxed set; and Saker Cannon (if it normally comes in a box). I think that covers it.

Thanks for the help!!

Yes indeed it is!!!! It's going to feel like forever before it gets here!!! Even though it's going to be a while before I actually get to work on them (still needing to work on Romans) just having them will be be a comfort! I will have to take photos when they arrive!

Yup! Don't you remember the thread where one of our members showed pics of the unboxing of their minis? Everyone liked them - it was like sharing in the excitement.

I have found a few extra links.

The English Civil War Society's 'links' page: http://english-civil-war-society.org.uk/www/cms/index.php?option=com_weblinks&Itemid=23.

Essex's Army 1642-1644: https://www.baccus6mm.com/includes/howto/ecw/essexguide_text.inc.php and,

The Oxford Army: https://www.baccus6mm.com/includes/howto/ecw/oxfordguide_text.inc.php.

I'd like to find more like this.
