I'm really looking forward to these, this is a very sensible step in the right direction....it's been too long! Rome without Gladiators, is like a pub with no beer!!!!!!! I'd really hope that a set heads could be made available seperately for conversion purposes....with a few of the superb Murmillo and Thrachian helmets being made available without the face masks...........why? well, Gladiators did fight on several occasions in civil wars and uprisings and would have no doubt used some of their own kit, supplimented with whatever they could get their hands on....but bearing in mind the face mask was a hinderance to vision they would have likely not put it on during battle....but would have appreciated the helmet for protection.
Apart from that, standard gladiators including a kirk douglas looky likey well that would be just grand!!!!!! ;)

"I'm Spartacus! No - I'm Spartacus!"

Or should that be "I'm the Messiah and so's my wife!"

Gladiators and rules for using them in small one on one battles would be great fun. You could play several games in an afternoon pitching differing classes against each other.

The Thracian Lady Gladiators wins mostly. Must be her special "weapons". ;)

I agree. I've just bought Warhammer Historical's Gladiator and now I'm looking for some nice miniatures to test the rules.

Okay, I thought I saw something from WG on this and now can't seem to find it. I've searched the forum, the store and the news archive and didn't find it.

Am I going nuts or was this thread the only thing I've seen about them? :?

Do you maybe think of this?

Yesterday at the Tactica, the guys from Warlord told me that Wojtek sculpts them in his free time. Therefore he hasn't finished them and it will still take some time - but they will be released at some point in the future.
