Oooh, Mr Stallard ("He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty bo .."), sir, you dandle these dainties before us, and, Tantalus-like, we're trapped. Rabbits in headlights, etc Talk about hook, line and sinker - now we're all waiting for the New Year!
Happy Christmas/Saturnalia/Winter Solstice, and best wishes for the New Year to you, too! Even to Romans.

You know, John, you've been spending too much time with Paul! This is his role, teasing us all with comments like this. Now you're joining in how are we meant to cope? :o  It just isn't on. :(

It wouldn't be a Hefalump would it? or a covered battering ram perhaps?

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you, sir! :D

What a cruel way to end the year.

I guess it's a model of one of the steam powered airships used by the Roman mail service to deliver saturnalia presents into the hand of the ancient gamer's wifes, available in AMC configuration or plain.

There are rumours that the warlords put stickers on the packets: Only to be delivered to the spouse.

I've been using the powers of the force.......................My Money would be on The Roman Wagon/armoured coach from the movie Gladiator to transport M.A. around....that will be a great piece to have, I'd hope there was an interior too...but can't have everything! ;) It would be nice to see some W.I.P shots!

Obviously I know to what Herr Stallard is referring but we've also got some other pieces for the Romans. In fact Wojtek has just finished a couple of very nice Romans this very afternoon.

Every time we think we may have covered everything for Imperial Rome a bunch of new stuff presents itself...
Cheers,

Paul Sawyer

I know you think you're being helpful, Paul, alleviating the stress and what have you, but you're not. You're really not! :( Just trying to show us that John doesn't know everything and trying to trump him is only making it worse for us poor suffering forum dwellers! :(

It's a gladiatorial arena.

Do I win?

Bugger!

Something else to distract me from the main effort of painting legionaries
