I have actually visited that site on numerous occasions and is brilliant . I do fancy doing a Candian force eventually . I have never been so hooked on a period like this before. My front living room remsembles a Russian tank factory in miniature No room for the Christmas tree yet ! I could hang my tanks from it as tree decorations

The last KGN game we had at the store /club was played on a massive board . I think it was 18x12 and there was something in the region of 150 German tanks against a similar number of Allied tanks. Normally the Allied tanks out number the Germans but this was a "Bulge" game where the Germans were doing the attacking.
Games of this sort of scale are almost impossible to do in 28mm but I appreciate large skirmish games can be done with a number of players on each side, but at end of the day we are a set of treadheads at our club. I did try and pass a motion at the club to change the name from Bolton Vikings to Bolton Treadheads but was thrown out by the Ancient players!
