Nice blog. Really like that house you built!
Take car. Go to Mum's. Kill Phil - "Sorry." - grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?

I was all gung-ho for 18c, and then started 6mm. I would love to dump them, and then start in metal 28mm if I had to.

Now that LAOK is out, and the Zulus & Brits are well under way, I too look forward for ranges of plastics & metals for the mid-18th century to follow up the Charlie & Cumberland figures.

I am fond of Imagi-Nations, and hope for plastic European types to enable Big Battalions of 28's at a reasonable price. I would refer you to my post in the Black Powder general discussion

http://www.warlordgames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3004

I would also add to the ideas in that post after experience with various multipart plastic kits - especially the Pike & Shot troops from Warlord. I feel that the option of using a basic troop position like the marching pose in the Napoleonic Prussian Landwehr pack is a good idea to reduce wasted sprue of unwanted parts and especially to save time in construction. Separate hats is a good idea to allow grenadier caps or tricorns (or even bonnets). However several command sprues in a box is a fair idea as many of us like to put 2 or more flags & several officers per unit & the occasional NCO. These could also be provided in individual metal (not a set - eg - I really would like to buy more individual flag bearers in the P&S Scots, rather than a set - really don't need all those drummers!)

As for the '45 types - lets all hope for some Bagot's Hussars!!

Cheers & Seasons Greetings to All!! :D

I too am waiting for plastic Jacobites. Picked up Charlie and Cumberland at the time of LAOK release and then some 6mm (which I am disappointed in ... )

Nice Figs! What make are they, please? They look like Front Rank French Dragoons. I note some Irish & the Royal Ecossais (or Ogilvy's but with Bagot's it's the former) behind.
Cheers, Rohan.
