Decorator's caulk

Been using this on some ceiling board junctions, and then ... this would be good for modelling. Seems to take paint well, is fairly flexible, and dead easy to apply from a gun (and cheap - £1.98 for 380ml at B&Q). I've been using it on a marching fort project (no pics yet), and it seems to be easy to shape when it's drying slightly, too. Anyone use this for basing? Comes in white, magnolia and brown, so I'm thinking it'll do for lots of different periods and milieu.

Being that I am "across the pond" - do you have a picture of the tube? Sounds intriguing!

I use caulk quite a bit around the house, but haven't thought of using it for modelling. I will give it a try. I use DAP Brilliant White caulk for caulking around tubs, sinks, and showers. Try this for a laugh around the house. Shout to your wife from the other room: "Honey, come see my brilliant white caulk." When she pokes her head in to see what you're getting at, hold up your tube of caulk and smile. Or, hold up both your tubes...

Well, it comes in brown and gray and less-brilliant smaller squeezable tubes as well.
