Great model, I can't wait to get my hands on it. Now I just need to paint what I have already got.

Great looking green. I am putting other projects aside and certainly starting a Briton army for WAB now.

It was terrible, there were 6 Romans to a legion and don't ask what the Celts were wearing!John

Thats a shame I was excited there for a moment, no excuse for 6 per legion in the days of CG hordes either, I wont bid on the copy Ive seen on Ebay.

Cheers.

Looking good so far, the hair is nicely detailed and her face has a pretty mean expression! Can't wait to see more!

hi!

great figures but will u look to produce a set of emperor /personalities for the romans ? i.e. caesar, octavian, antony, brutus, etc etc?

We already have a sculptor working on two Emperor models. If they go down well more may be forthcoming...

Cheers

Paul

by the way , your boudicea character looks remarkably like alex kingston from the boudicea tv movie…did u base it on her??? will u be doing her daughters as well?

No, not based on her at all.

The brief we gave for her face was a mix of Tilda Swinton and a young Maggie Thatcher.

She was described as having a terrifying countenence so we wanted to get that across in the model and not resort to chainmail bikini and colossal funbags (not that there's anything wrong with that of course!).

No plan to do her daughters at this stage - there won;t be room in the chariot as she already has a bodyguard which we'll show off in this week's newsletter.

Cheers,

Paul

Paul, your getting like Phil and his teasing. I am looking forward to seeing the bodyguard. Are they mounted on chariots, in her chariot, or maybe on horseback.
