Thessalian Rhomboid formation

Postby Happy Wanderer » Tue Nov 22, 2011 4:53 am

Gents

How would you rate Thessalian Rhomboid formation in the rules? Would there need to be a special rule? Does one exist in the army lists recently published?

Given a description of the formation as;

"Cavalry in rhombus formation has superior maneuverability, being able to rapidly change its direction by alternating leaders posted at its four points"

Drilled?

..maybe a version of 'Wedge'?

...another specific special rule?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers

I think of it as being a version of the Wedge formation and would use those rules. Essentially, that is what it is.
