WOTR

Postby Eljas » Thu Nov 17, 2011 3:33 pm

I am after a set of rules to cover WOTR & I have taken onboard suggestions on other links for Longbow but what are peoples opinions on early handgunners and bombards/artillery ?

peoples ideas/opinions would be appreciated then I can get on and buy a set of rules that cover the period sufficiently.

You know you're a nerd when you see WOTR and think it's about Lord of the Rings. :ugeek:

Oh, right! Of course, how stupid of me!   But that's because I don't play the game, or anything much that GW sells. Being from a historical gaming background, I always tend to think of those initials as meaning what they do in this thread, War of The Roses. :)

Being a Yorkshireman and a cricket fan has something to do with it as well!

Have to confess, I initially thought War of the Ring, only for a very split second, and I too originate from Yorkshire and have a love of cricket... :o (no emoticon for shame!) I have obviously been in the Midlands too long!

Often Wars of the roses is written like WotR, I'm sure had this been the case I would have recognised it instantly... (well that is my best excuse).

No, you must live with the shame till the end of your days.
