Don't feel too sorry for Hawaiians, they do get to live in Hawaii. Plus they have Wendy Calio.

But Gravesend was hotter than Hawaii a few weeks back, apparetly there is now a mass migration from Honolulu to North Kent in progress (in for a bit of a shock when they get here)

I have never heard of Wendy, but according to Wikipedia she went to the same high school (Mililani HS-- 5 blocks from my house) as both of my children. For its size, Hawaii turns out many performers, athletes, and very hot women. Going to the supermarket usually guarantees running into a dozen Wendy's.

Eat your hearts out.

Do you warm the can - by standing in warm room - before use?

I only have warm rooms -- the same temperature as outside. In February it might hit a low of 59 degrees fahrenheit at night. And, when it does we put another blanket on the bed and wear parkas. No heating and no A/C in the house. Today it was 84.

The brushed on dip and matte varnish have made the graininess a non-issue, for the most part. The helmets have a somewhat pebbled appearance. I can live with it. It is minor compared to the size difference between the Legionaries and the Auxiliaries. They look like different species.

Ah sorry that is a no-goer then - although I have no idea what fahrenheit values are. Centigrade were what we were taught at school, with 25C being a hot day.

subtract 32 degrees from Farenheit to give you the Celsius/Centigrade value.

Sorry but I don't think it is that easy. Perhaps the Fahrenheit figure - 32, multiplied by 5/9ths? Not that I would ever need to use it.

It is. It only gets awkward when you start getting into stupidly high/low temperatures.
